Royal Hotel - Cumnock

The room was beautifully refurbished and clean, featuring a powerful rain shower. the noise from the bar below disrupted our sleep after a wonderful dinner at the restaurant.

I booked into the Royal Suite which was very nice and the room was very spacious, free WIFI and parking which was great. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent

The Shower in the Suite was not very good very little power. I had a pint of tennents in the bar on arrival and this was warm so I opted for a cold beer. I ordered Lasagne and chips with coleslaw which was ok but I have eaten better. The bar/restaurant area is extremely hot and the television was quite loud would have been ok for a football match but not Fair City. On check in I received a warm greeting but was spoilt by " oh your in the Royal Suite number 1, you'll get awoke by the church bells at 7am!! sorry about that"

The place had a family atmosphere.

The units were big with a comfy bed.

Very good food. Excellent breakfast.

Room 9 - twin beds under a cam ceiling. View zero. 1 chair. Parking awkward.

Homey and clean hotel with particularly nice view over the town. A lovely area, marvellous location close enough to the restaurant and the centre. For tea or coffee visit Coach House Cafe nearby. Updated...  

Enjoyed how stylish the property was and its amicable staff especially the manager. Have spent here 1 night and our suite was fancy

The staff were genuinely great. The breakfast options were excellent, with freshly baked bread and a range of local jams that exceeded my expectations.

the shower pressure was quite low.

The royal hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfy and a great size.The food was very good and the choice was exellent i would certainly recommend the chicken curry it was...  

The room we had was excellent. Nicely furnished with plenty of space.

Not really the royals fault but local pub patrons were very noisy past 1 am on a Saturday night.

Comfortable room, excellent service, with a delicious breakfast served promptly in the cute dining area, and the convenient off-site car park made our stay effortless.

Loud crowds outside window until about 2 am.

The staff were friendly and maintained professionalism throughout our stay. The dinner and breakfast options were excellent, showcasing a diverse menu that we thoroughly enjoyed.

The room felt slightly outdated despite the recent upgrades visible in other areas.

From the outside you would not expect much from the hotel, but when you go up the stairs it was beautiful and spotless. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Everything was "please and thank you".the food...
